About this activity

This tour includes pick up and drop off from your hotel or cruise port in and around Ocho Rios Come and spend the day and enjoy the thrill of rafting on the White River in Ocho Rios. Enjoy rafting on the White River take in the beautiful scenery, watch the birds and learn about the different trees and plants along the way. You will stop briefly to enjoy the rope swing and relax before completing your journey down the river. We then head out for horseback riding in the ocean with great guides who will ensure you have a great time, the ride begins on the trail off the beaten path then along the sea shore then aride into the ocean.

Marvyn's Paradise Tours
5 hr - After pick up from your Ocho Rios hotel or cruise you will be chauffeured into a fully Air- Conditioned van, with live commentary and a bottle of refreshing water . Your day begins with Rafting on the White River where your guide will tell you the names of the different types of birds and trees as you pass them along the river banks. This is an exciting rafting along the White River where you will be amazed by the beautiful scenery. Enjoy the challenging rapids as well as the enchanting and peaceful lagoons! Rafting is approximately 45-60 minutes and allows you to catch some rapid rides but most of the way you can relax and listen to the birds singing. During your rafting The next stop will be Horseback riding where you will be guided by professional Guides who will take you along the trail and into the ocean , take some amazing photos. after we will take you for authentic Jamaican lunch ( optional) then we take you back to your hotel,villa or cruise port

Amazing Adventure

Not enough can be said about this excursion. The drivers and all the tour captains were amazing. The history behind the city was amazing to hear. If you’re going to do the River ride, try your best to schedule first thing in the morning. By the time we were ending the tour that’s when the crowd started pouring in. Didn’t take away from the event but the tranquility definitely took a hit due to some of the other captains hyping up their passengers with laughter and music. The horseback riding was only another 10-15 min drive from the river so that was cool. Driver gave us history of Ocho along the way. Once we got to the horseback section, it was a lot of people but as soon as we started riding, it felt as if we were the only ones there. Great tour guides here as well. Bring small bills of cash if you want to tip or buy from the vendors. They have the typical necklaces, shot glasses etc. but the coolest thing was the “drive thru” River bar. Get you a drink or Jamaican “treat” right there on the River. Overall great experience

Thanks to Marvyn..... Jamaica owes me NOTHING!!!

We arrived in Jamaica on 11/27 and had the time of our lives. We had a personal tour from Marvyn for 2. He understood that "as women of a particular age" we were not for the rock climbing, ATV, etc. He suggested and took us straight to the bamboo raft which we were completely unaware of. That experience was epic!!!! He then took us to Ferngully and to a spectacular mountain view of the ocean. There was shopping later at a jewelry store where he specifically requested the owner to assist us and he obliged. Marvyn was extremely knowledgeable (as I asked a million questions). We ended the tour at a Caribbean restaurant with the best jerk chicken I've ever had. I wish there was a Marvyn's Paradise Tours in every port because I would certainly patronize. Thank you Marvyn for giving us the time of our lives!!

Very Satisfied

Our trip was everything and more. Starting with our driver. He was amazing . Very welcoming and made us feel safe at all times. The ppl at the both excursions was extremely nice . We had a really good time!
